Transformation, like a caterpillar’s metamorphosis, is painful but necessary for humanity’s survival—and it starts at home.
HOw we started
A shared history, a rekindled friendship, and pragmatic faith that our dysfunctional world can be rehabilitated into a just and harmonious civilization and that avenues to contribute to its emergence are accessible to anyone.
Once upon a time in a quiet neighborhood, a friendship blossomed between two families. Hyacinth and her Mom became fast friends with Roi and his wife.
Hyacinth grew up and moved away. She and Roi would have little contact over the next 20 years. Then one day, Hyacinth got an unexpected text: “I want to tell a story about the first human voyage beyond our solar system. One that raises questions about big things in the future. But I need the right collaborator…someone smart with diverse perspectives. I think you might be that person.” That conversation led to the founding of Knowetix, a writing partnership passionate about telling stories envision a just and harmonious world along with the struggle it will take to get there.
We tell stories that ask challenging questions about human nature, conflict, and institutions to foster a world grounded in justice, wisdom, and compassion through art, ideas, and innovative thinking.
